Victor Elementary School District offers health and welfare benefits to all eligible employees. Our goal is to provide resources to keep you informed so that you may utilize the plan benefits to their fullest potential.

**This year's Employee Benefits Open Enrollment Period is 4/29/24 through 5/17/24**
   It is your annual opportunity to make changes to your insurance benefits.

• Medical Plans for VETA Bargaining Unit Members are offered through Self-Insured Schools of California (SISC). Click HERE to be directed to the Certificated Employee Benefits Webpage. 

  *NEW* Benefitfocus is our new online benefits portal.  Create an account to view your existing benefit elections, enter beneficiaries for life insurance, and add or drop spouse and dependents due to a qualifying event or during open enrollment. If you need to make changes to your insurance during the current open enrollment period, you will need to make them through Benefitfocus. • 2024/2025 Part Time Classified Employee Insurance Costs
Cost information is provided for Part Time Classified Employees who wish to purchase medical insurance.  The cost to enroll in medical insurance is prorated, based on your position hours. In addition to the plan summaries in the tabs below the Blue Shield HMO 12 (Trio ACO) Minimum Value Plan is also an option for Classified Part Time employees purchasing coverage.

   

•  Medical Plans for Classified, Management, Psychologists, Montessori and Confidential employees are provided through California Schools Employee Benefits Association (CSEBA). Plan options include Blue Shield PPO, Blue Shield HMO Access +, Blue Shield HMO 1C TRIO and Kaiser.  View benefit summaries below.

•   Basic Life and AD&D and Supplemental Life and AD&D Benefits are provided through MetLife.  The Supplemental Life Plan gives you the option to purchase spouse and dependent coverage.  See benefit summary for more details.

Section 125 Flexible Spending Account Plans
American Fidelity is our district's third-party administrator for the Section 125 Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Plans.  You can enroll in this plan or renew coverage during our current Open Enrollment Period with an effective date of July 1st.  Check your email for the link to schedule an appointment with an American Fidelity representative.

•  403(b) and 403(b) Roth Voluntary Retirement Plan Flyer
   SchoolsFirst is our third-party administrator for the 403(b) and 403(b) Roth Voluntary Retirement Plans.  Please contact Michael J. •  *NEW* CSEBA Wellness powered by Limeade One. 
The current wellness vendor Go364 will be replaced with a new platform effective July 1, 2024.  Please remember to cash out your Go365 "bucks" prior to June 30, 2024 and check your email for more information regarding the new wellness platform.

Reminders...


  Change in Legal Marital or Domestic Partner Status
Notify Personnel Services as soon as possible if you've had a change in legal marital status, including marriage, divorce, legal separation, annulment, death of a spouse or dissolution of Domestic Partnership in order to submit insurance enrollment change forms within the required 30 day window.  Changes must be made through Benefitfocus our online benefits portal. 

  New Spouse or Newborn Child
Coverage for a new spouse or newborn child is not automatic.  If you experience a change in family status you have 30 days to update your insurance coverage.  Contact Personnel Services immediately to complete the enrollment process through Benefitfocus.   If you do not update your coverage within 30 days from the qualifying event, you will have to wait until the next annual open enrollment period to add them to your insurance.

The Go365 wellness platform will be replaced with a new platform called Limeade effective July 1, 2024.  Please remember to cash out any of your "Go365 bucks" prior to June 30, 2024 and be on the look out for information regarding the new wellness platform to be sent to your work email.



Adding a Dependent?
Changes that involve adding dependents due to marriage, birth, or adoption of a child, must be reported within 30 days of the event. A marriage or birth certificate is required when adding a dependent to the insurance.
